Kestrels
Kestrels are one of my favourite birds of prey. They are not uncommon and often seen hovering effortlessly over fields as they scan the ground for small mammals.
I was fortunate to watch a local kestrel nest, giving me a wonderful opportunity to observe these birds at close quarters and capture some special moments through my camera. Watching their behaviour and seeing the adults caring for their young was a real privilege, and one of those rewarding wildlife experiences that makes all the patience and waiting worthwhile.
